  1. Tom:
Looks like the new Nikon 1 J5 will give you much to be pleased about for landscape and non-bif photography and will be a real gem to use at the Bird Kingdom. From the posted images from this article and the next one regarding Gear Acquisition Syndrome, the J5 certainly delivers sharp detail and great colours. It would be fun to try it on some landscape projects like a field of canola. Their is a beautiful example just west of the 403-401 interchange on the south side of highway 401. I was a passenger only last Saturday when we spotted this field and it may be worth a re-visit when I can stop and set up the camera.

    1. Hi Ray,
I agree 100% with your comment. I will be going to London a couple of times in the near future and I’ll look for that field to see if I can grab a few images.

      1. Well, I’ve been educated today. I had not realised there was another large town called London outside the UK, and did a double-take on the message interchange between you and Ray until I Googled London Canada and found it in Ontario! (I see there are actually at least 11 places called London worldwide…)

        1. Hi Dave,
There are actually all kinds of cities in Canada and the USA that have cities and towns with identical names to those in the UK and Europe. Likely a result of the various groups that immigrated here.
