Snowbirds at the 2017 CNE Air Show

This short article features a selection of images of the Snowbirds at the 2017 CNE Air Show. Thanks to one of our readers, Bill Prawecki, for his recent comment that served as the spark for this article.

All images were captured hand-held using a Nikon 1 V3 and 1 Nikon CX 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 zoom lens. I shot using Manual settings, Auto ISO 160-3200, in AF-C with subject tracking, usually at 10 fps. The majority of my Snowbird images were captured at apertures from f/5.6 to f/8, using shutter speeds of 1/2000 to 1/2500. ISOs varied from ISO-160 to ISO-500.
